This is a software tool that facilitates collaboration with partners who may not have CAD facilities but need to see the drawings and do not need to modify the drawings. The tool converts industry standard DWG formatted drawings into PDF formatted documents in a batch.
This program is able to work with all available versions of AutoCAD drawings that include the R2.5/2.6, R9, R10, R12, R13, R14, R2000/2002, R2004/2005, 2007/2008/2009, 2010 formats. DWG to PDF Converter Pro is a batch converter for DWG and DXF formatted drawings into PDF documents. When creating the PDF documents you can create necessary bookmarks as well. PDF resolutions can be adjusted for print, press or web publication.
It does not need AutoCAD to be present at conversion time. If you have suppliers and vendors on that engineering project where exchanging drawings is a necessity. You too may be a supplier/vendor to some party whose drawings you need to refer to. Since there is no need to modify the drawings in any way, there is no need to have a drawing package like AutoCAD available. The program can convert a bunch of drawings in one go. The interface is well organized and simple. The main screen area is where you create a list of documents to be processed. When choosing files you could select a folder and have all the subfolders included. You need to have simple controls that select the drawing type (DWG/DXF), the output folder path and the PDF options. Thereafter it is a single click conversion. Nothing special that makes this software stand out, but can be a work horse when you have a large load of such conversions.
